Celebrating the ancient and rich history of the rural village of Xiaohuang, in China’s Guizhou province, this film explore the three elements which define the village and its culture. The incredible ‘gulou’ towers dotted through the village. The ancient bridges which weave throughout Xiaohuang which acts as community hubs; and the spoken language which doesn’t exist in any written form, but is passed down through song.
